Right, but if Crete can "decide what they want to do" then that includes being able to declare healthy drivers as medically impaired because their neck is 17 1/2 inches.
Transfer this law to another profession like policeman, accountant or lawyer and this would never have passed. Ask yourself why doesn't this ruling apply to airline pilots? The jobs are structurally very similar.
I found the same $1,100 machine I was forced to buy, selling for $475 online. Oh, it's a scam alright.

I agree with what you're saying and frankly I think the whole #### thing is nothing but a scam to begin withRichard Scribner and Deadwood Thank this.

if you're referring to OSA and neck size, possibly. They have determined that it isn't so much neck size that's the issue, but the size of your throat.
I use to think that the apnea crap was just a money grab, until my wife was diagnosed with severe OSA...she had 97 episodes per hour and her O2 level was 74 (extremely low). She would kick, toss, snore all night long. If she stopped moving during the day, she fell asleep (actually fell asleep more than once while producing her markets newsletter, and woke up with her head on the keyboard). Would have to nap 2 or 3 hours in the middle of the day most days. She was perscribed a BiPap machine, and the doctor was considering having oxygen added. It was so bad, it screwed up my sleep when I was home. But, her 1st night with it on, she was so silent, I had to check to see if she was still alive. No tossing, no snoring, and...hasn't needed a nap during the day since she started using it, and doesn't fall asleep if she sits down for 5 minutes. Sometimes, it's b.s., but in some cases, it truely is necessary. -
It was a necessity for me. I had 100+episodes per hour, don't remember the exact number. I feel much better since getting it.

And now that it's cooled off at night my low air buzzer goes off.
I either have to lower the thermostat to start the truck or get up and shut the key off, and the blower fans. -
Or fix the air leak?
-
That air leak woke me up last night, plus it was 80 degrees inside.
The optiidle kicked out
I must have got up 10 times to restart it. And the check engine light was being stubborn and didn't want to go away.
thAt was a rough night. -
We're talking about a Crete shop here...they can't find their head with both hands, unless there was a big red arrow with the words "air leak" pointed at the leak, they wouldn't find it.Richard Scribner Thanks this.
-
Unfortunately that's like many shops these days..lol
-
I will only take my truck to certain shops if " needed ".
