Real simple, just go to the clinic at the Petro in Ontario. A quadrapalegic could roll out of there with a medical card.

What do all these drivers have in common in Brad's post?

    1) They all pull a refer.

I have run into drivers over the years that refuse to use truckstop shower rooms because they aren't clean enough. They wait until they get home every couple of weeks or so....eeeewwwwwwwww!!!

I take a shower once a week even if I do not need it.

I think part of it is that trucking has such a low barrier to entry. Doesn’t take much to get a CDL and find a company to throw you in the seat. After that, it’s all run, run, run!

I’m not saying there’s no slobs hauling flats or OS/OD/HH, but I’ve seen a lot less since I’ve been doing it vs hauling a reefer.

While I do find it humorous watching someone roll out of a truck, waddle to the buffet and hand the waitress a gallon jug and tell her fill it up with tea while borderline cardiac arrest I also find it quite sad.

When I was at school many moons ago, some dude gets off the newbie shuttle that had to have been 450 to 500 pounds.
His calves were the size of my torso, and already turning dark red / purple.

    I'm going "OMFG."

I have trained myself to rid my mind of images, and that one still remains.

Lmao. The tea jug incident I wrote about happened at the Petro in Little Rock at Galloway.
