Btw some of u might not know this but self driving cars has been tested and use since 1920!!
By 1960 they use magnets on the road to guide vehicles. This isn't a new idea like u think. It's been going on for almost 100 years. And since 1920, not a single job was loss due to an automatic driving vehicle.

In this generation, technology has improved dramatically. So yeah now it's showing light but we are still a few years behind.

I hear the phrase "automated vehicle" and this is where my mind immediately goes: chrismax.png

I believe Stephen Hawking has already alluded to AI being the downfall of mankind.

I just want to get pointed in the direction of the company that pays 75% of the load to the driver. Then I would be happy.

    I can see the future...
Maverick is the driver, one piece jump suit and high tech comms system that links him to the sat-nav and ops. He sits at the controls and monitors the data stream and ops parameters for anomalies while connected to a bio monitoring link that allows his ops controller an unfettered oversight on Mav's performance and situational awareness. Maverick's control console includes a head retention and activation swivel to make sure the proper system scan is taking place and at the proper interval.
Maverick's one piece comes complete with an internal waste capture system and he is hooked to an IV for feedings and medically induce stimulus if the bio monitoring shows fatigue or a decrease in attention.
Question is, does Maverick make over .35 cpm?

There's more to this job then just driving. That's what everyone but us drivers forget to realize. I say let it happen and when one of those things fails and kills someone or maybe even the persons family member that invented it Then finally they'll realize and give us some #### respect.

Not going to happen in our lifetime.

Only way I could see it being possible is to have designated lanes just for these trucks.
That would be a gigantic exspense. Just don't see it all coming together any time soon lol.
