@Mike2633 are all the bus drivers in your city fresh off the boat from the eastern bloc? Im sitting at the airport waiting on my ride and every single one looks like he needs his white volvo the buses not shockingly say operated out of Chicago

Did you guys see GFS just bought Ettline Food Service based in York, PA. They aren't giving up on the Mid Atlantic Region.

 

No I didn't. Had never heard of Ettline until now. When GFS starts buying local(to me) companies like Stanz and Piazza then I will become seriously concerned.

 

Did entire truck load in 5 hours with two hour drive time included.

Robbed em today.

 

It was a baby trailer, but i get paid the same prettt nuch regardless if its 53 or 28ft

 

Food service vs p&d for money and hometime. What would yall recommend

 

In my opinion food service is more stable you know your gonna work all the time with freight you have the dreaded extra board you have to deal with but as far as pay there pretty equal same with home time in my opinion so take it with a grain of salt

 

I like the fact that foodservice doesn't really depend on economy or anything. You have steady work year round especially if you're at a terminal that covers a large area
