I was really impressed with their product lines. he gave me the demonstration and left me with some freebies. I went on Cowpies reccomendation on that one and was not disappointed.

One major benefit is that I can have oil, (soon filters), samples, grease cleaner etc, all delivered to the house, and on one account, and a rep that recieves the oil samples and reviews them too. The cost is comparative to other retailers, turns out cheaper given my travel cost to retrieve it all.

stwik, icsheeple and Victor_V Thank this.

We do the same with a local oil/lube company. They installed an oil tank and over head air operated gun.

What do you mean L.S. will have you on training wheels for a year. I'm guessing you can only haul certain loads? Can you haul oversize or have to wait till the year is up ?

LS has a rating system. In securement class, you'll be given a rating based on past experience. I was quizzed on such things as what kind of oversize I had pulled, where I bought permits from, etc. I had no idea about this myself as all my friends came to LS before the system was implemented. With my experience I came out an SD3 rating up to 12 wide. Do 5 loads in your rating and wait 6 months, and you get bumped to the next rating though it takes 10 loads and year to go from sd4 to sd5, which is unlimited.
    SD/FB1- no oversize or overweight
2- up to 10 wide, no overweight
3- up to 12 wide, I think max weight is 100k
    4- up to 14 wide
5- no limit width, and you can pull over height at that rating.

SD/Fb 1…..is up to 10 wide and no over weight, then it goes on up..correct?

    I remember when i was FB/SD 1 but I couldn't pull anything over 10 wide

It's not complicated and rules are meant to be bent, but it keeps a super trucker pulling his fifth flatbed load from booking a 15' wide load. You might have something like that internally at Mercer. It's not a big deal really.

I see now. And I agree, a rookie on his first few loads has no business with a 15 wide.
