"So, the big sleeper is nice, but comes with its own costs, especially as I bought used. Countered with the costs of idling, showers, food, cold start/battery issues, and the priceless joy of hot coffee and a morning dump without leaving the truck - I still think it’s worth it."
Guess you miss the smell of the Petro men's room in the am, you need to stop in one every few months, makes your sleeper maintenance enjoyable.
The journey begins - purchased a truck.

At 4600 hours on a ‘premium ‘ product, with little warranty - I’m leaning toward alternatives.
Even if I have to dare outside the compound to switch it on. -

The warranty alone sounds better. -
The last time we spoke you told me about your Onan woes - great call to send the whole unit to Cummins and let them make that determination. Fine use for a transmission jack too!
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
My unit has 24,000 hours and runs great, pump and injectors rebuilt a few years ago, strange thing is the oil never gets black, @200 hours it is still clear.. kubota must build a good motor.
Unit should be between 7-8 ktommymonza and blairandgretchen Thank this. -

I’ll have to get them to decipher the age from the serial number. I can only guess at 6 years, which would be less than 800 hrs a year, not a whole lot of use.
The missing bottom cover has something to do with airflow and heat too.RStewart, RedForeman and Oxbow Thank this.
