Wow, I had no idea that’s why you went to NZ. Old man just said you were over there on FB. I’m glad everything worked out though.

Hope your dad pulls threw. An accident is never good but it could be a blessing in disguise seeing they found cancer you said otherwise they wouldn't of. Hope he has many good years to come!!!

The human body can withstand some things we can't comprehend. My great great aunt broke her hip at 88 and made a full recovery being able to walk and live at home alone again. Once again best wishes

To add to that he sounds like one tough old bird walking to the chopper. They don't make em like that anymore

Yes - he's a strange bird in that respect. Passes out cold with the sight of blood or needles, yet visits the dentist with ZERO anaesthetic. I kid you not.

After the induced coma, they had him on 'poor man's heroin' - I expected to see something on the med list upon release from Middlemore to the rehabilitation at Pukekohe, but there was none. He wouldn't even take the one Panadol (paracetemol/Tylenol equivalent) that they had prescribed.

Compared with so many stories I hear these days of people that become addicted to opioids after a brief stint following an injury - I have to hand it to him, my Dad's generation seems to suck it up and move on.

And - thanks all for your well wishes.

It cements in my mind that it only takes a second of inattention out here on the roads to make a life altering, or ending mistake.

    Be careful y'all.

What else besides the 1702 turbo do you have done and what psi are you seeing? We put the 171702 with mack housings on the 93 E-7 and were seeing about 42-43 on a hard pull and pyro stays below 1000
