So if no DOT citation or inspection generated or ticket given then they can't report it? Or are you saying thst you think they shouldn't be able to report it?

I'm just saying that they shouldn't be able to report it.

A dac report is there to show DOT and non DOT preventable. Hitting a fence post while turning is non DOT. There is no police report necessary or citation issued. Therefore it doesn't show up on your MVR but when the company still gets called about it they pay to fix the fence post. That gets recorded on you DAC as a non DOT incident.

Name one carrier that only pays .20 per mile. I also like how you exaggerate OTR to living in thr truck.

All I can say is become a real driver and stop having accidents.

A professional truck driver with 40 plus years experience and 4 million plus miles under their belt, with a spotless record, can have an accident. It can happen to anybody at anytime.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!airforcetoo Thanks this. -
And in case of an accident, remember D.A.D at the accident scene - Document everything, Admit nothing and Deny wrongdoing

Seems like USA Truck drivers have issues with power lines.
While I was reading this thread this morning and I had just got to where he had pulled the power line down, a USA Truck came down my road (it is residential and posted "No through trucks" at all accesses). He tried to turn around in the parking lot across from my house and my power went out.
The power came back on as I seen the wires fall off the back of the trailer so I first thought that there was just a loose connection on the pole that got moved when he when under the lines. When I went out to get a better look I found that he had ripped the entire power meter off the side of thebuilding across the street from me and left a pile of live wires on the road.
Can't make this stuff up

Looks like the culprit keeps getting away! There rarely seems to be a picture of the truck in the photos.Thomas0810 Thanks this.
