Yea, at the Love's you always have to wait an hour before you can shower.

Like with any change... Nobody likes it until they get used to it lol. When I started we had FJ, Pilot, T/A&Petro, and Loves stops. About 6 months or so in they changed to the one that was all pilot and flying J's with just a couple of T/A's in CA, CT, and a couple other states.

Before, wasn't the only fuel stop before on I70 in Indiana the Brazil (x23)? I'm to lazy to try and find the fuel book from when I worked...

Most of the Loves I've found to suck. I did use the TA on exit 3 I10 in Louisiana as often as I could. They serve shrimp and sausage gumbo there on the salad bar.

I do wish that USA would pay a little more attention to location, sometimes they pick the stops that are in BFE. Also, it seems that many of the stops just happen to fall within a mile of the next scale. This often forces me to get less fuel than I'd like or choose to skip it all together and hope I can make the next one.

Yes very true have stopped at that TA before very good gumbo! I heard that when they made there deal with loves and was told that they had to get rid of so many pilots and flying hooks it just sucks that they have taken alot of them away hate loves try to stick with the pilots and flying hooks

No one sits with a map/atlas and makes the choices. They are made solely on discounts offered and nothing more.

If I had to waste the time that drivers that have a restricted fueling list do I would quit!

When I drove there USA would let you get in an emergency 50 gallons at any truck stop. All you had to do was contact FM so FM could turn on the Comdata card. 50 gallons should be enough in most circumstances to get you to a network truck stop. I only had to do it one time. That was up in mass and I misread something. It was totally my fault, but FM said OK where are you and opened my card up.

I didn't have a fuel guage in my truck. Fuel mileages very with the load being hauled. They wouldn't, or couldn't fix it. That da**** truck had me sweating several times. I had to know where the stops were. I didn't have a choice. I had to make sure my tanks were topped off. :biggrin_2556:
