You hit the nail on the head there, I was almost sold on a l/p ran the numbers and thought I could make it work but then it dawned on me I would have absolutely no say in achieving those numbers so how can I realistically make a business model

 

Look like somebody has some explaining to do, another driver got caught shooting a quick one.

I'll tell you what. I'll get a print out of my logs. And I'll post it. I don't lie. I don't have to. I don't need to impress anyone on a message board. But I will say this to the two "naysayers" who apparently can't truck: if you don't understand how to run your clock to its fullest potential, and you think that 4000 miles in a seven day week is impossible, then this business ain't for you. It's trucking. Not rocket science. You only have to average 600 miles a day in 7 days to get to 4200. That's not hard at all. Well, I mean if you're one who doesn't understand that I guess it would be.

So when I get my paycheck, I'll prove those numbers and the dates. And then maybe you'll learn how to work, kid.

What happened? He always defended Prime to the bitter end, low speed and all. Aside from being a near zealot and becoming a pain in the ### because of it, it did seem he was pulling a rabbit out of the LP hat.
