"They're a tough repair and nobody wants to do them"
Why should it matter if nobody wants to do it, it's their job and a customer is waiting for it! That attitude screams Schneider.

Bright side of dealing with that trailer is I got a new 2019 with all the bells and whistles i mean sensors this thing has a sensor for everything, broken in a bit too at 30k miles.. today I had the excitement of switching trucks and .... a big AND at that , waiting on hold all day for IT to get me switched over to the new tablet

This week has been interesting . Just got put on a out and back account so the home time is flowing haha. Didn’t have a Monday cause of the holiday. Tuesday had a load about 240 miles from the house that delivered Wednesday. So me and the 2019 headed to pick up early to see if we can deliver the same day. Called the customer and got no answer on theyre three different lines and told Schneider to call and they got nothing either. Strange being it’s a moderately big company so the tablet says their hours are to 1600 and I was tracking at 1430.. walking in the office at 1435 and the guy said you just missed em they get out of here at.....1430 smh “comeback at 0600” the frustration that I could’ve been heading back home if it wasn’t for them stupid hours. I hit the outlet in cinci since I seen they had truck parking and did a little shopping then parked for the night at the quala. Unloaded and got back home pretty early in the day around 1 but the opportunity was missed for the day. Thursday had a load The was supposed to be picked up at 1400 and it was just dropping a loaded at the quala in chi but when I got to the shipper the trailer hadn’t even started to get loaded. So they took it off me had hometime Friday, so like I said the hometime is flowing.. Also had them ask if I want to get ecolab which I’m excited for if it’ll make me some money

@meechyaboy, Has any talk been going around there at Schneider Bulk about merging with Superior Carriers? See this thread starting at post #35. Just wondering.

Woke up at 730 today didn’t have to be up till 9 as they have me training for Ecolab so the day consisted of classroom videos and a check for learning which had some terribly worded questions. After there was an air unload in the pickle suit as all ecolab deliveries require. Had a trailer move to ecolab but I put the truck in the shop. The overhead lights won’t turn off and they flicker and the center console that houses the overhead is one huge piece and that keeps popping off. I could’ve just removed the wire that supplies the electricity but the whole unit up top may fall off so may as well put it in now. May have been for the best as the guy I’m riding along with wants to be gone by 0400 so I probably bought myself a few hours of sleep. Maybe had to be up by 0200 if I’d made it to ecolab.
It’s driver appreciation week and they’re definitely trying to stuff the drivers lol pday 1 was taco Tuesday and they gave you a plate with 2 stuffed tacos beans and rice, a drink and cake..slim shady Thanks this. -
That Ecolab in Channhon Il is a pain the ###, Almost no room to get spun around to get backed in

I can definitely confirm that its the same ecolab, super tight mini McDonald’s size parking lots for trailers just enough room to twirl around in
Today was interesting had a ride along with a driver and it was a single compartment unload. Only thing that seems different to me is the type of customer locations you deal with on the account. For instance today we had to use part of some guys driveway cause the maneuver was tight. was told that a lot of the places have really tight backs and difficult manuevers instead of on a customers property or under a rack away from the public. Other then that it’s the same as nalco almost. Gotta wear that suit for all unloads. But a plus is that most places allow you to rinse on site to avoid that tank washnewbietrucker91 and slim shady Thank this.
