Running 6 days a week, mileage plus bonuses adds up. I might be a few hundred off that mark but it'll be close.
Next year I could see $135K - $140K running 6 days. Lots of weekend work available.
The six-figure club.

Made 130k this year.

I'll end up around $120k by the end of the year, short of my original goal of 140. I got too burned out, not just from my run, but from FxF as a whole. Ended up quitting to take a job hauling groceries around town.
The new job is great and I'll top out by the end of next year around $36/hr, but they strongly believe in work/life balance, so there's not much overtime available. This will probably be my last year in the 100k club for a long time, but I think it's a good trade-off in order to have a life outside of work. I'm probably not going to drop the name of the new job in public, but anyone who wants to know can just message me.ColoradoLinehaul, McUzi, hotrod1653 and 9 others Thank this. -

I’m definitely not breaking the six figure club this year, but like @jmz said work home life balance is more important than anything.

Until you realize companies are really paying that for drivers who have a home life balance then it's like WTF am I doing?
ColoradoLinehaul and jmz Thank this. -
JMZ’s words rings true, as usual. Once I stopped chasing the buck and focusing on seeing my family more, life significantly improved and oddly enough at a certain point, the increase in QoL is also what lead me to far more lucrative income.

Then we hear about drivers who work a 7/1 ratio. And even if they stay out for two months straight, they still can’t get more than four or five days off in a row. That’s not “balancing” in my mind. That’s slavery. Lol. To me balance offers flexibility based on a 7/2 ratio. Two days off for every seven days out. And that’s still less days off than what most workers get in other industries by far less. So if you stay out 21 days, you should get six days of home time. But we know that doesn’t happen in this industry. It’s a unicorn. I would love to stay out 6 to 7 weeks a couple of times a year and get two weeks off. Not all the time just a few times a year so I can go on a trip someplace.
what I’ve learned if you’re making industry average pay and your company honors accessory pay, the only difference between making six figures and not is how many less days of home time you’re willing to accept. -
It's all you can eat if you want to work, but if you want to take it easy just do your job and go home. Best of both worlds.prostartom and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
