My Cummins has been good so far. Oil change every 6 months and fuel filters around 12-14K are all it’s needed. If this keeps up I’ll be be happy.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Cummins is a good motor...only reason to buy a Dodge. If you want a real transmission, though, you've got to put it in yourself. We had my friend's out for a gear swap...adding overdrive to his 6-speed Eaton Fuller.

Mine has a G56, which seems to be holding well so far. I can’t complain.

    Feedman and stwik Thank this.

So, there i am, making this same turn we've been making all week (from the guy who doesn't strap the dunnage/chains back down from a day or so ago). 10 miles there. Get a load of steel, chain it all down, drive 10 miles, wait an hour or more to be unloaded (Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and then drive back. ugh

so i'm putzing back and there is a 4 lane (2 lanes each way) 45mph road, stoplight, we hae the green have had the green and some stupid pedistrian just decides to walk on it. me in left lane, trash truck in right lane, cars all behind us and here he comes.

    WTF?
slamming on brakes, hitting the horn
    i mean seriously

and if stuff had not been tied down (esp the 4x4's) away they would have went.

Oxbow, misterG, Feedman and 3 others Thank this.

There was a dude that passed me going down the 91 Riverside Freeway today in a van, with both doors still chained open.

I know he had a van, but a stunt like that deserves honorable mention.

There's a f350 in front of all that pile of branches that he just had fall all over the road.

"Don't need to tie it down it's only a few miles down the road"
