The Walmart skinny

Literally in training now in Bentonville. (On lunch). Nearly 60 drivers here for training. Completed pretrip, road test, and backing. I suspect now is HR dealing, such as tax stuff and employment verification stuff... For lunch as I'm sure you guys are curious is tacos which were good, not authentic, but not taco Bell... American style would be best way to describe it. I'm not sure how I feel about the Walmart cheerleading chant yet and hope they are joking about chanting it every day. That will probably sum up today.... Til tomorrow.

 

Chant everyday....i wish someone would tell me to chant everyday.

You got to be kidding me. Wow, they put you through that humiliation. Has to be the biggest lie Walmart tries to sell their employees on. The customer is second, profits is first. Don't forget that about Walmart.

 

Yep... Who's Walmart is it.... Do they really do it everyday? What about at the DCs?

 

Literally at 7am and walk through the door there is this huge line and music blaring and they are shaking your hand or patting you on the back. I appreciate the energy but never seen that before....

 

If you do something wrong, do they put you through the spanking machine?

Thank You, Polar Bear King for your reporting. Hope it works for you, but just on this kids **** **** treatment has decided for myself that I would never work for this company as a driver. Does Walmart even realize how demoralizing this kind of treatment is to a professional? A look in the eyes and a handshake is enough, anything more is fake.
