My only thought is think of how many people perpetuate this moronic myth that pot is actully harmless. Yet you can tell a stoner at a glance from the fact they always tend to have much slower reactions and that forgetful dumb act even when sober kinda like you poured concrete into their thought processes.

Then combine that with how idiotic your average driver is and the ever increaseing rate of stupid we see literally EVERY bloody day. Honestly cracking down harder on drugs makes more sense then free reign seeing as the quality of driver is already bottom of the barrel and getting worse daily. i seriously cant see allowing drugs improving that. I forsee it only making things worse.

And no i dont give a flying rats ### if you think that you can function on the road high as a kite or that it wont affect you.

Morons like these thought the same and now they have blood on their hands. Imagine if these idiots had a truck? Hate me if you will but i will never support allowing drugs into this industry. Hell id prefer if they put a death pentalty in place for someone who kills another while under the influence of basically anything.

 

This won't eliminate the urine testing, it will be an option for other fluid testing. Hair follicle testing needs to be added to the options list, not restricted.

 

They can get DNA from urine, or more specifically, from epithelial cells shed into the urine.

Plus, they already have our fingerprints - and the DNA of everybody who has ever done a DNA kit from 23 And Me, Ancestry.com, etc.

 

If I’m working at a lab and I’m also a serial killer I can see taking, hair, saliva from someone’s drug test and placing it on the body of the person I killed to throw the cops off.

I think it’s ironic that it’s perfectly fine to get black out drunk every night wake up and go drive around in the morning but you’ll be ###### if you smoked weed 3 weeks ago while you were on vacation.

also the current drug testing is a scam at best. I pay a lot of money every time a “random” test pops up. I have 5 drivers and every year on average we all test twice a year at 99.99/drug 129.99/drug/alcohol a piece. I Should have opened a drug consortium instead of a trucking company. Also seems like every time we get called we have to do the alcohol crap as well as peeing in a cup.

 

Question: Do you have to be part of a consortium?
