Hey Drivers! Need some feedback, how many of you have a ThermoKing Precedent C-600 and had an Alarm code 63?? I'm having big issues with mine costing me so much down time and the unit is only 1200 hrs old, ThermoKing had the opportunity to fix it 5 times in 3 different ThermoKing locations around the states and still shutting down. I can't even sleep when I'm loaded. Some help here, I need to know if is just me?? Thank you!!

Code 63 is showing Engine or Vapor Motor stopped on the TK Alarm chart. It also shows that this particular code requires immediate attention

That sucks. This your trailer? Buy new? I'd start proceedings to make them replace the unit if they can't fix it. They going to buy the first load of rejected product, in addition to give you a new unit?
Start writing professional letters to TK corporate and see if you can't rattle some cages to get a tech who understands what the issue likely is to advise your local dealer how to proceed.
TK places high emphasis on their name and reputation, and this is likely some anomaly that got out and they need to get it out of circulation and/or determine if there are other similar issues cropping up recently that need to be addressed before you and others start giving TK bad press that they aren't used to.
Was anything ever replaced on the other shop interactions? Like a bad sensor "lying" to the main control module. -
Just curious. Does this issue make your system inoperable? What happens when the code is cleared and the unit is power-cycled? What is being done to get it back running?

On my previous reefer trailer I kept having the same code. Thermo king never fixed it, even tho they always "did" but few hours later same thing. Typically this code is saying that the engine stopped. Which can be for a couple of different reasons. You might have a problem with the wiring/battery/electric (groundwire) issue. You might have problem with your fuel. Have you been in freezing areas lately? Could be a fuel pump, but fuel also might have got frozen, and they might fix it, but down the road it freezes again. After that code does it keep running or does it shut off? Also does it start back up once you clear the codes or does it try but fails? Does it give you any other codes after a few tries? Such as draining the battery voltage quickly?
If you go to thermoking again, tell them you been 5 times already, and what happens. On a brand new trailer I had it was the o-ring that was messed up was leaking freon , which threw me a lot of codes including code 63. -

Check your ground wire to the motor. I have a sb210,it would shut of randomly. Found a bad ground on bottom left side of motor.
