How much cash/credit will you have after you buy the truck?

 

Don't buy any truck between 2007 and like 2016. The emissions problems alone can bankrupt you

If you buy an older truck like say a 99 if you spend 20000 for that truck don't be surprised if you put another 20 or maybe even 30 back into it.

The main thing is being able to cover those costs because there are times they just will keep coming at you.

Older truck newer truck whatever truck. Trucks are like women. In the end you always pay and often something cheap and easy to get into can cost you the most.

What you’ve ask here has been ask countless of times. It really gets old. My apologies for being BLUNT ........

 

You know what is painful to read on TTR? When someone comes to the forum and start a thread saying that wants to be an owner operator but doesn't even hold a CDL or buy a truck and put a driver in it but the truck owner also doesn't hold a CDL . I don't even bother to read the rest of the discussion. Sorry for the venting.

 

The 10yr old emission truck is not a very good idea. It'll probably break you. Wouldn't touch one with a 10ft pole
