Even $20 adds up if you cough it up often enough, Cargo, true that.

I don't see where XPO has a lot of background with wheel rolling down highways, so it's probably going to be a while before they hire enough hands and get their feet wet. Sweet metaphors!

    Bait & Switch hiring.
They just need to get you to orientation. Next, will reneg on their initial offer, then will let the hiring process wear you down. Fight the urge to settle here.
    Keep searching.

JBsFuture and TopCop, if that was your experience, fine. You do have some years working for Conway/XPO, don't you? Otherwise you wouldn't be in position to make icky remarks like this, right?

I've worked with Conway/XPO for 3 1/2 years, and my experience, direct realtime experience, was absolutely nothing like these two posts. Nothing. I get good miles, averaged 2,800/week for the full 3+ years. I usually get $1,800/$2,500/week direct deposit after expenses and fuel, and with no BS. In fact, what I was and am told by them is just what I'm experiencing.

I have no idea how TopCop can say "same as with most companies" from personal experience. It sounds like the remarks often posted here, actually. Note: a LOT of drivers do not post in here. They're busy earning a living.

XPO is a big company that bought a smaller company for various corporate reasons. I expect them to cut corners, shrink benefits, seek profit. After all, they're a corporation. I'm still there, an I/C, and I don't get companyt benefits anyway, so I've not felt much impact so far.

As for me? I'd go with Conway again, for sure.

Don't forget, some drivers are successful, some blame the company they work for.
