I just got my CDL and I'm thinking of signing on with Knight. Do any current drivers have thoughts on the Portland OR terminal? Also I'm trying to decide between running 48 states or the western 11.
My recruiter said 48 states would average 28-3200 mi/week, western 11 about 18-2200.
How does that compare with reality?

Right now I'm thinking dry van or possibly reefer. I have my tanker and doubles endorsement as well. I really want a company that doesn't do team driving for training and will allow a pet after training.

Training is a ##### but most companies will allow dogs there's alot of good dry van companies depending on your location. @Chinatown will have the hook up. I think Danny Herman trucking takes recent grads and IV heard good things about them

Thanks for the feedback. I'm in the Medford OR area.
I've looked at A&M trucking as well. I will take a look at Danny Herman. -
