You can try to justify your stupidity anyway you want , had that driver held his lane and let you hit him while you mered back over you would have been found at fault for that accident ,
This is at least 2 times I've seen you post similar situations one of these days your going to meet up with someone like me who holds their lane no matter what the idiot that is supposed to be yielding is doing

Wait... did you really just imply that because there isnt a yield sign that there isnt a legal, not to mention prudent, requirement to yield?

You saw him coming. You knew he was moving at a high rate of speed. You made a choice to amplify his stupidity by adding your own.

I know that road as well. In fact I've driven it many times for the same company you're currently with. Possibly pulling the same trailer you were pulling. It matters not one bit, you screwed up AND posted the vid online. What if someone were to give Mike or John a heads up? You can bet you'd be getting a call.

I use a technique that is taught in the Swift safety courses-- keep your vehicle close to the curb or side of the road or in this case, close to the white fog line to prevent or block traffic from coming around on your blind side. Imagine if he tried to pass me from my blind side and found himself running out of road. He pushes me out into the suicide lane and I end up walking around the next day dead.

Refer to above to discover why it is bad practice to move over.

There we have it, it is all my fault this guy had no choice but to cross over the double yellow lines and put lives at risk because I was driving the speed limit and holding my legal lane.

So long as they heat up the jumper cable alligator clips over an open candle flame til they're red hot and clamp them down tight on my shaved moist sack-- I want to feel the pain this time.

You must have watched a different video than I did. He never had legal possession of the lane if he crossed the double yellow lines. Remember crossing double yellows is about as legal as running a red light while taking a big swig out of your open bottle of JimBeam.

His crossing the double yellow is a direct result of YOU failing to yield, when YOUR lane was ending. RTFM. Yet another swifty trying to justify his ignorance.

Sigh.... Why should I have to slow down from the speed limit? Is the speed limit too slow for some super truckers out there? Are there truckers out there who are above the law in which the speed limit does not apply to them? That they are so special and princessy that other truckers should part the red sea for their epic supertruckerness?

This has not a single thing to do with the speed limit and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that YOUR LANE WAS ENDING, NOT HIS.

I think it is not patrolled because even if they wanted to pull a truck over for violation it is not safe enough on the limited side of the road to do so. Traffic would be too close to the stopped vehicles. Truckers know this and basically get away with murder out there on US 287
