Some of you are really stupid.
If you have another driver doing things that don't seem correct, you don't get next to them and wait and see if they hit you - you slow down or stop or figure out what you can do to let the retard go by.

Why is it that every truck I get behind is going slower than me?
scottied67 Thanks this. -
still looking for the exact code for that state, but here is food for thought while you wait.

When the speed limit mandate takes effect next year these sorts of videos will become non existent. We'll all be chugging along like a freight train all at the same speed efficiently. When you have a guy like this selfishly pass causing everyone behind him to slam on their brakes, what happens is you have one guy going fast and 10 guys trying to catch back up to speed.
All speed limited trucks will all do the same speed and be more efficient. ELD will in turn foster huge pay raises for us because of fewer crashes means fewer claims and premiums will drop and the savings will be passed onto the driver. -

still doesn't apply to my video. I owned the single lane when it ended from the passing zone as indicated by the protected double yellow no passing lines on the ground. Try again. -

driving down two-lane highway
2:36 passes merge sign
nothing in left mirror
2:41 lane divider markings end, road becomes single-lane highway
nothing in left mirror
2:45 passing truck becomes visible in left mirror
2:47 passing truck clearly riding double-yellow, splitting lanes
2:49 passing truck enters view from left, splitting lanes
At 65Mph he's already covered around 380 feet driving down a single lane highway before the blue truck even becomes visible in his mirror. That's over 850 feet beyond the point he passed the Merge sign.
I don't think there's a lawyer on this planet who could convince a jury he was to blame if that blue truck ended up causing a wreck.Dave_in_AZ, MidWest_MacDaddy, rachi and 1 other person Thank this. -
Let's say that you were walking across the road with the green light. You have the right of way, correct? Now what if the driver of a bus did not see that he had to come to a stop at the red light, and is clearly going to hit you. Would you: A - keep walking at the same pace, risking a collision?, or B - slow down and move out of the way?.....
Well, we all know what you would choose.
