Really? So you trust a jury in a wrongful death civil suit to decide Scottie is completely innocent of any responsibility... after a lawyer finds all the vids Scottie posts showing wilful aggressive driving. His Amarillo construction vid comes to mind.

Honestly hsve you read some of the bizarre things civil jury's agree with?

In the Amarillo video, the truck was trying to pass me illegally from the merge lane. you guys eviscerated me.
In this video this driver clearly tries again to pass illegally crossing over double yellow no passing zone and again you guys are tearing me up over it.

Then I post the video in another part of the forum and get thank you's by the hundreds.

So you're sore about that youthful indiscretion and I can never do anything right after forever?

It has been almost 180 days since my truck was involved in a collision so I would say my safety record speaks for itself.

Here is another one from US 287 in Colorado. Like I say, these fool truck drivers think the speed limit is too slow.

At least you were in the flat and daylight when ups did that to you. One got me at 2am on 287 between Ft Collins and the WY line. He would have put me into the rocks if I didnt stand on the brakes.

Scottie, Scottie, Scottie, how is it that you are so attracted to these dangerous drivers? Maybe you should call Guinness, kinda like that guy who was struck by lightning multiple times.

The one thing that I have observed is your absolute refusal to admit that you could have done anything differently. By refusing to allow that there were alternative options, you close the door on learning.

I'm out there mixing it up with traffic every day and I rarely have a close call. Even the ones that I've had, the first thing I ask myself is, "what could I have done differently?" There have been times that I was really cheesed off at the other driver, but still allowed for the fact that I might have been able to avoid it, even though I was in the right.

I'm running a business. A business that depends on ME making timely pick ups and deliveries. I don't have time to waste on drama or trying to prove that I was right. I burn up my 70 in 5-6 days nearly every week, my time is too valuable to take chances around reckless drivers.

I still believe that there is something that you are doing (which we can't see in your videos) that is causing other drivers to get a little road rage around you. It's either a behavior quirk or an intentional major character flaw that entices you to bait these situations.

Nothing I can think of other than driving the speed limit and keeping proper following distances. I do everything by the book and careful and professional as possible. I visit my companys' FB pages once in a while and they always post up a few safety tips every week, i make a practice to follow those but I think what happens is these other drivers hear that stuff too but just shine it on.

My close call videos are fewer and fewer and further apart in time. I think in general the safety culture at companies is sinking in on the driver population pretty good, it is just this particular highway, US287, little to no LEO patrolling it, the truckers feel it is the wild west and when they see a guy going the speed limit they want to 'educate' him on how lawless the road is.
