    So sad. RIP driver.

They were at the final leg of their journey, the roads were clear; sound like they think it just got away from him.

I would guess he fell asleep. I don't want to blame the driver but it sounds like he ran off the road.

I'm assuming by the names that they are Asian - I see a lot of them out of that area running 40 and they're not usually the best of drivers. A company called "Best-1" that hired a lot of Asians I would often see involved in wrecks - the owner got smart and turned the trucks down to 63mph, now I don't see them in the ditches anymore.

There was one here recently that drove into Republic,MO at 70 mph, passed the 60, 50 and 40 speed signs, and rear ended stopped traffic at a light, sandwiching two pickup trucks into and under the rear of an 18 wheeler, killing the occupant of one of the vehicles. Sun Li, I think his name was, Chinese national on an expired visitors permit. No idea how California gave him a CDL on a tourist visa.

That's sad. Hope the other driver does recover. But , I'm in total agreement with Whooly Rhino , Chinatown and S M D , that time of day is the most dangerous..just before sun-up. R.I.P.

Yes, they are Chinese. Many Chinese and Indian drivers get their CDL's in California and NYC.
