I ran intrastate Ohio 2013 till 2019. At least till then intrastate Ohio commercial tractors must have front and rear plate. They issue 2. Rear must be lit.
Now on IRP plates rules and regulations trump that AZ ######### ticket. But you will need to fight it in court. Sounds like a racket!
There was a Ohio diesel cop that would write a tag light ticket to interstate tractors. Plate or no plate. If the light is installed it needs to work.

NJ is about the only state that gives 2 tags for cmv, back in the 90s my friend had 2 kw cab/overs same year you can guess where the 2ed tag went on?

Go to Kinko's. Have them make a nice Color copy of the front license plate and then laminate it.

Don't go thru the AL. West bound I-20 coops with your tinted windows rolled up or you will have to open your wallet and have lots of razor blades handy to scrap off all tint?

Actually fmcsa ruled that tint was allowed sometime around 2012.
