    Around MM: 170
Road conditions: Blowing snow, poor visibility, icey, 24 degrees.

In your future driving career, how about not blowing past every other truck at 65 mph just because you can go 65 mph.

    I can go 72 mph.

I was going 45 for a reason so was every other truck behind me. Except you, mr. special, blowing by us at 65 with doubles weaving about. Throwing ice and snow on us and obscuring our visibility for a good mile.

We joked about how we'd see you in the median in a few miles on the CB. And then there you were, I will give you props for managing to keep the doubles upright.

While I hope you are okay, I do also hope you don't drive a truck again.

    Ever.

You could have killed someone, including yourself.

couldn't have said it better myself! These guys that drive the wiggle wagons need a reality check. Every single time the weather gets bad, you see these guys, or at least hear about them getting tangled up somewhere. Are they REALLY under that much pressure to get there on time? Nothing, not even medical supplies, is that important. Or, do I have it wrong? If anything is THAT critical to deliver ON TIME, all the more reason to slow your butt down so you WONT wind up under a pile of junk before you get it there. Is it really that hard to figure out?

I refuse to ship Fed Ex in the winter. It really is true, they gravitate to the ditch more often than any other company I witnessed out there (including Swift).

I got stuck on I-80 eastbound in western Wyoming after a Fed-Ex double

took out a loaded bull hauler. Splattered a couple hundred pounds of prime

beef, and the live ones got loose in subzero temperatures.

Six hours of my life I'll never get back.

That vid fails to address the "fact" that red 4 wheeler bounced off the jersey wall and hit the FedEx Truck causing the rest of the pile up.

No fault of the driver,I take Pay Pal :biggrin_25523:

I think any driver driving in those conditions could be found at fault . That's why I don't move on ice at all .
