Not bad at all. The lighter Detroit helps too. I’m up to 20,500 with all the tools and stuff I carry. That includes my wife ( smack!) Lol. I’ve been solo since February. My Trailers heavy at 14,500. Newer lightweight paper specs are available. That would work. 3 yrs ago I passed on a 98 379, 300”wb. 110” ICT. ( I think that’s what it was) Guy by Me retiring. $35k. Had a recent overhauled Cat. It was orange, Leased to Reliable. It was immaculate inside and out. Had a 18 spd transmission w/ a problem. Had to skip a gear. Lol. Except for that, nothing spared on maintenance. When it needed king pins, he replaced the whole axle assembly, hub to hub. Everything on the Truck was like new. I was looking for a Truck for someone else, but very tempted. It was a great deal. I should have just bought it myself.

You just do it.Mine is 285” with a 102” sleeper, but trailer is a 53’ with 18” deep king pin, and tandems fixed to the rear plus only 3-4 inches of ground clearance, 50,000 empty.
I do get to piss off a lot of people when turning, even dumb truck drivers that don’t have a clue.
I sometimes wish I could spin around in the aisles of truck stops like those kiddie trucks.
But I’m not giving up the comfort. I’ve taken many showers at customers and rest areas. I like it when the lady calls out driver #1 shower number is ready. One truck stop shower in the last 15 years.

I had my 72" Aerocab gutted and stretched to 102" on a 257" wheelbase. Fifth wheel slid all the way back, dry van. The shower and toilet alone are game changers, the larger fridge is nice too. Microwave, dinette, large tv, sink, there is no way I could ever go back to an OEM sleeper.

The biggest drivers of my curiosity would be the larger fridge, bigger bunk for when my wife is with me, and the storage. The shower/toilet combo would be awesome too, but it's hard to tell how much room you have in there. All the pics make them look tiny :dontknow:
