    Many toll roads were in existence before the Interstate system was started and those were grandfathered in. Congress did pass a law in one of the highway re-appropriation bills banning tolls on existing Interstate lanes. But they can build new lanes and toll them, as you see a lot of anymore, with the addition of express lanes and even some HOV lanes.

    No, I eat deer, ducks, rabbits, and the occasional ground hog. Troll meat is rarely worth the effort of butchering and the cost of seasoning.

    You bring up a very interesting point there mate, I remember having to pay some ridiculous amount in tolls driving around Chicago, and then across to Elizabeth NJ. I just assumed that perhaps the roads were privately owned. But if they are government owned why the toll charge?
