For the record Houston is literally one of the most truck friendly large city in the entire country. Secondly, don’t take it too harsh. Keep going at it and persevere. I know many people who have failed the road test 3-5 times. I also knew a guy that passed it the first time and got a job with an LTL company and ended up having like 10 incidents the first year (hit a sign, backed into a fence, clipped a pole, got stuck, stuff like that, miracle he wasn’t fired).

Stay with it and just learn as much as you can.

Get back in the saddle, Vinny.
You'll always remember that, and turns will be a safety priority for you.

Hire the lawyer. Probably $250.. but it's worth it.
    Keep your record clean.

I once saw a high school driver ed student rear end a farm tractor, and they had an ambulance there taking the instructor to the hospital......at least you had no injuries.

Don’t feel bad, I didn’t pass my cdl driving test until the third time. First fail was for impeding traffic. Second fail was for going straight in a turn lane that was not marked as a turn lane.

Usually if they've got a sign that gets run over much they have sheer bolts holding it up and only have to put bolts back in to fix it.

When you are brand new, sometimes you have no choice but to wait out the traffic (when a more experienced driver might be able to go ahead). It sucks, but it is what it is.

These cars don't understand the turns you are making. They have no clue.

If you aren't sure about a manuever, you can't do it.This is about safety.

    That's not my point.

I never did and it is not normal.

Get back on the horse Vinny. Some day you'll look back on this and laugh. Might take awhile though.

Absolutely. ALWAYS check your mirrors as you go through a turn.
