You've been driving commercially in the country for 18 years and still aren't fluent?

Sounds like your $11k auction truck is going to need about $50k more before it’s on the road.

    Ice cream

    Get your ice cream.

I know you all prefer popcorn but I hate picking and flossing my teeth.

I’d have sold a running truck to you a while back… had them listed here… sold a 16 Cascadia and Pete 579 around 14500 each just to get rid of the #### things.
I probably should have kept the Cascadia but I like my 660 and couldn’t part with it.

    It turns on!!!
Dodged a bullet here, I went to YouTube university there's a vid saying to use a 15/16 on the alternator nut if it dosen't turns the engine is locked, make sense but not all the sense, so bough the sprocket that connects to the flywheel on the bottom and turned a little... with much force. By the way, you can find how to start a truck that has been parked for some time in the operator manual so I did all that. Got the batteries waiting and last sunday my buddy came to pull out the truck because the driver side was against a wall.
First crank...peewwuhgg alternator belt broke, yes the alternator was locked. 2nd crank was like heaven much peace and beers after that. How about Alliance alternators? at 400 hundrish, delco remy at 800 hundrish.

I would buy the delco remy. Alternator goes out, and depending how new the truck is, you will be dead in the water real quick. What kind of truck is it? Pictures appreciated!

Delco, there is certain parts you can get away with buying cheap, leveling valves come to mind here for me, but most parts you do not want cheap, if an alternator fails in the middle of nowhere you are sol, just happened to a buddy of mine, he limped it 100 miles to a shop, and it still cost him $1800 for them to replace it.
