It sounds like I can only park at truck/rest stops, customer, and maybe Wal-Mart.. Maybe. That denies me overnight parking when I need it. And I drive a lot at night. If I get drowsy, I gotta stop somewhere.

No you did what you could. I think some on here need to not criticize and realize not every trip plan works out. I dont have a crystal ball like some on here seem to have.

Well I'm going to blow your mind and PROMISE you, all the truck stops within 50 miles of Indy are going to be standing room only after 22:00. Even on weekends. Weekends, the truck stops near major transportation hubs fill Friday with local drivers using the nearby truck stops for parking while on weekend home time

So, in some cases, yes, I do have a crystal ball.

In most cases that I have seen so far, truck stops pretty much fill up everywhere, major city or not. When that happens, people can't act like it's a mortal sin when parking starts overflowing. This morning I was looking for parking much sooner than 50 miles. Lol. So i was on a ramp til the early birds left and I got it parked. Its the best this dumb noob could do.

I've seen people drop their trailer in a spot then park tractor in a different spot. Dickheads. They probably masturbated while thinking about how they made one extra driver sleep on the ramp.

Not 1 minute after I watched that, CalArk parks next to me. I guess I'm stuck here now.

That doesn’t always guarantee a spot. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to some truck stops and reserved parking is all sold out-and that’s even in the early afternoon.

Thats why you reserve ahead of time. You don't wait till you get there.
