You are right Emul. I'm going to quit whining and just learn. Solo comes in time and I can run the truck then.

A big benefit to running nights is less traffic... You maintain a better average speed with the smoother flow, which on its own increases your range and fuel economy. And its nice to not have rush hour...
Another benefit is that when your day is up and you're pulling into the TS, everyone else is getting up and you should have a much better selection of parking spaces AND daylight while you back...
I much prefer night running over day.tntrockstar, Emulsified and Corporal_Clegg Thank this. -
What does Stevens pay trainees during the 8 week training period? Thanks.
-
$350 a week. minus govt subsidies.
DE36535 Thanks this. -
$50 a day...
$50 x 7 = $350... that will continue until you leave the yard on your first solo dispatch.
It may not be an even 7 days when you start or stop so $50 a day. Technically the pay week runs Wed thru Tue I believe for training and you are paid on Friday, so of you start your Orientation on a Saturday, you would be paid Sat - Tue the first week, so $200.
