TransAm Trucking Pushed me to do illegal driving

Actually a few months before I left TA to get off the road and try doing local work (that didn’t go too well)they had just built that terminal in Olathe they have now. Previously they were in a much smaller place before which wasn’t too bad, you could go in and talk to dispatch, say hi to everyone there, most people pretty good to deal with. Once they built the current terminal you couldn’t even go into see dispatch without an escort, and drivers were expected to stay in the drivers lounge in the other building. The Trans Am “good old fun little truckin’ company” quickly started turning into another POS mega LP training company. The good hard running long distance meat &shoe loads were disappearing, and by the time I left there I was getting burned out. Looking back on it I would’ve stayed on another year or so until they would’ve tried forcing that lease purchase crap instead of getting screwed by that POS little container outfit back home I was going to work for after I left Trans Am.

 

I bet she gives good phone, too!
