See, I get that he is playing nice, but playing nice doesn't mend the injured or bring back people from the dead. Screw this idea that he has to do anything other than make sure the roads are safe and lead doing it. I hear this crap about 6 months to 8 coming from his proponents, but that's not good enough.

As Sec of DoT, if an airline has pilots who are unable to fly safely but the company allows them to pilot the aircraft, the FAA/US DoT doesn't wait 6 months before they react; they do it like yesterday. They shut down the airlines and revoked their operating credentials.

When it comes to this, I would rather see a whole state suffer to make it right than to see one more person die because of some crap driver who can't drive being allowed to have a CDL.

I also want to see more stringent regulations on keeping a CDL, I almost had a serious accident this Monday when some idiot made a U-turn, pulling right out in front of others, and a car slammed into him. She wasn't injured, but totaled her car. He needs to lose his CDL as far as I'm concerned.

The name Singh is taken by baptized males. That’s why you see it so often.

 

If the school system had the same standards it did back in the 80's I would maybe see this. The school system now is nothing but a joke. I trust more people that were not brainwashed into idiots from schools than the kids coming out of school from the 2000's plus.

All that has to happen is companies to pay a good salary for a good employee. Normally you get what you pay for! School and all that BS you said means nothing if the money is not there to attract good talent.

I agree Duffy has the power to stop this immediately so I appreciate most of this post. And certainly can explain how that is done and don't doubt Duffy has no intention of doing so.

However, the big but is - how does Duffy have the power to invalidate any of the non-domicile CDLs when they were constructed by a rule of Congress and the Senate?

 

I've known many convicted felons in my lifetime, that have overcome and contributed a lot more than the average human. Books and covers.

There's a few on here that have far exceeded the 'expectations' or "statistics' that judged their outcome.
