My DM said that I have $35. a month for truck expense.
I'm not sure what the cost for a truck wash.
All I can tell ya is if they want me to have a clean truck they can pay for it.
I'm just the driver of the truck.
And yes I've been to the Memphis & Atlanta and they both suck.
I see drivers at the fuel islands using the window squeegees to clean the truck.:biggrin_25523:

Thats interesting...i'll have to hit my DM up for that....lol
I went thru the Phoenix Yrd wash and the rinse cycle wasnt working right so my truck got washed but just left soap all over it...that sucked! Eventually the thing started working right and it got finished...

You can take your company truck home?

For many their COMPANY TRUCK is their HOME .

Not everyone has a place at home to park their trucks let alone give it a hand wash , I pay my drivers $40.00 if they wash their trucks themselves at the yard , if not they run them tru the truckwash where we have an account..

How does that work? Would I be able to drive the bobtail out of the terminal to take it home or the store or wherever without them calling the police?

sure...why not? When i get hometime, i drop my MT trailer in a small town gas station that has about 10 spots to park trucks. Nobody messes with them. I bobtail home, and the next day...give her a good handwash. I've never had an issue with bobtailing out of a terminal. I've even dropped a loaded trailer on the yard...and left...and just tell them "i'm running in town for a bit, but i'm comin' back for the trailer".

It depends on where you live also...In L.V., there's usually not a problem to b.t. home..I don't live in a gated community so there's not a issue. Plus my neighbors are pretty cool. I also drop my trlr in our lovely drop yrd here and just go home....
