Officer was very calm and non confrontational up to that point.

Criminal mischief? Knocked over a fence or sign maybe?

    Glad the officer is ok.

Criminal Mischief for property damage? Maybe the officer believed the property damage was intentional or that the "driver" didn't care?

Seems a bit of a harsh ticket for an accident. @TROOPER to TRUCKER maybe can offer some insight.

In any case, one less dirt bag to deal with, whose seat will shortly be occupied by another dirt bag I'm sure.

Fortunately the officer will recover physically, and I hope he fully recovers emotionally and mentally as well.

I just hope the officer doesn’t suffer. That’s a heavy thing to have to shoot someone.

Yeah I couldn't imagine having to deal with that. Not to mention what his family has to go through as well. All because a worthless slime ball couldn't control their temper.

It’s for the hit and run with proper damage I believe.

Would a conviction for that charge count for the 3 strikes rule?

I'm just trying to put this together based on what I see everyday. "Hit and run with property damage". I'm guessing the guy, not being very creative in the first place, parked at a Walmart nearby the night before, blocked front parking spaces after driving over the landscaping and curb to get there.

Next morning wakes up, dumps a piss cup and trash on the ground outside his door without getting out of the truck and drives over a pole leaving for his delivery.....right in sight of a cop.

He drives to the delivery being followed by the cop and this all goes down. He's filming the cop with his phone so he can live stream it to Facebook because 'the world has done him wrong.'

    I don't know either.
But it was mentioned he had a criminal past and that went thru my mind.
If he was thinking about the 3 strikes rule he had nothing left to lose.
Kill officer and get away with murder................no jail.
    officer shoots him dead..................No jail.
Just a taught.(might be completely wrong, guess we will never know)

D.Tibbitt and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

"even if the officer is completely wrong"...??

    how dare you say that...

the idjut trucker took the wrong street...point number one

the officer WAS DOING HIS JOB, IN GIVING that citation...point number 2

the idjut pulled out a weapon....point number 3

the cop defended himself...uh like maybe you would have.>???? point number 4.

for the idjut trucker to have pulled a weapon, ON A COP, tells me he had a criminal past.....and was most likely thinking he was going to be found out, and maybe going back to jail.....(yeah, i profiled him by this story alone....point number 5
