I'm looking for drivers that have been around since 1980 or before. I'm building a website to honor these drivers for the many hard miles they have put in while on the road. It's a work in progress as I research old trucking companies, trucks, truck stops, etc. I'm a 3rd generation driver and have always loved the idea of driving a truck. I got into this industry 2 years ago and never looked back. My generation of drivers has a bad name out here which is completely understandable. A big portion of my generation are steering wheel holders who do understand this business. The fine drivers who have paved the way for me earn some respect and by building this website I hope to give them even just a small portion of the respect they deserve. I'm looking for people to upload old photos of trucks, truck stops, trucking memorabilia, truck stop stories and the stories of how they got into this business, what has kept them going mile after mile, and whatever else you find to be important to your career as a professional driver. you can check out the website at http://www.asphalt-cowboy.com or you can e-mail me at truckinmemories@gmail.com

    Stay safe out there driver's,
    -Bill
