Not sure, but i may have found a gym...and maybe a trainer...
It's something I really need...real bad...I need the dicipline...
The dicipline you learn in a gym usually spills over into real life...
There's nothing like athletic competition to help motivate you to clean up your act, to eat right, to not drink, to get up early, to jog whatever...
Training for athletic competition just spills over into your every day life...
I truly believe that...and have been there before in the past...
And learning how to box, or wrestle, or both, or any form of martial arts just makes you an all around more competant person, builds your confidence, and thus gives you an edge...
I really do need to break away from this community...there's no support system here...
Some people are nice...don't get me wrong...but beyond having CDL's...there just doesn't seem to be anything that binds drivers together...
Not matter how much time and effort you put into it...the net gain is just zero...
People just seem to end up hating you more and more...
Then after a while it makes me not want to trust anyone on here...
How can I trust people who generally don't like me?
Anyhow...that's why I'm trying to forge a new future, a whole new social base and foundation...and I look forward to it...
Heck, if I don't fit in I just don't fit in...I can't force it...
So I'll rejoin the regular world...
Trucking can be like a bad marriage...

What an awesome movie...I'm watching it now...
If you want to know how I feel on the inside...rent or buy and watch this movie...
This movie talks to me...cause I'm like 'hey, that's me'...
A under appreciated super hero...who do to the fact no one like him, he never quite lives up to his potential...
And he begins to deflect their own dislike at him, back at them...so it becomes a negitave circle...
Until someone see's potential in him...and begins to turn his life around...cause they believe in him...
There's so many parallels between this characters life and my own as it relates to the trucking community...
I just totally missed this movie when it came out...
Anyhow if your bored...check it out...special effects are pretty good and convincing...
A reluctant super-hero...who needs attitude adjustment... -

But the process can be slow at times....
From what little you have shared about your past...I know you yourself are a 'over comer'...
I know you have over come a lot...
And I know your past is filled with adventure, trials and tribulations, that many probably could not over come...
When you speak..I know you speak from actually doing...
You are a surviver...and probably should write a book....
You have a lot to offer, to those needing inspiration....
And that's what bugs me about this community...people are so busy hating, that they don't take time to notice the unique talents of people who are apart of this forum...
They just throw you away, as if you don't matter...
And that's what the whole trucking enviornment does...it reduces people with extra-ordinary talent to nothing more than labour....
Rocks...I know you have a story to tell...a big one...I can see that...
And it bugs me that no one on here, even those with resorces, don't see the potential in you....
I just don't get it...
I mean it seems unless your from the hills of Kentucky...they just don't see value in you...
I'm a bit upset and confused right now about this forum...you must excuse me.... -

Hello everyone...
I ran into that monster dude twice again today...
And in ways that go way beyond coincidence....
The timing is just to perfect...
That's why i do believe in 'spirits'....or evil and mischievious beings...
I stepped out of my place today..and as soon as I looked to the left...they were walking by...right at that exact second...
It had to be timed right down to the micro second....cause where I was looking only has like a 4 foot view space...
Then later in the day, while at the store...I go inside...they're not there, I walk outside, and bam...out of no where...there they are...monster face and all...
And tried tried acknowledgimg me...gross....
I don't know what's going on with this...
Or how it will conclude...but I will keep you informed...
Anyways...speaking of store, or convient store...I'm fixen to head there now...
lets see, Sunday night, kind of chilli out...a bit after 1 am...hmm....
Odds folks...odds...odds of returning...
I should be ok...cold weather usually keeps most of the creeps at bay...
Only the real hardcore desperate ones dwell out in this type of weather...
We shall see...
And now there's a racoon making funny noises outside my place...
Did you know racoons sound like pigeons...
Anyways...back in a bit...I think... -
The interest certain threads generate can often be measured in other ways than just sheer views...
So I broke down some numbers and found the following 'success' or 'interest' level of certain threads to be interesting...
In the following I decided to measure the success of a thread, not in sheer numbers, but rather in post vs views...
In other words one post generates how many subsequent views...
And here what I found...(post to view ratio)
The thread in this section (or current page) with the highest views per post ratio is by far.....
1. 'Stupidest thing you have done or seen a rookie do' thread...
1 post, on average, generates 150.67 views...
2. Scariest city you've ever visited thread....
1 post, on average, generates 131.60 views...
3. Do you believe in the supernatural thread...
1 post, on average, generates 66.03 views...
4. Trucking can be like a bad Marriage thread...
1 post, on average, generates 35.92 views...
5. Where are you thread...
1 post, on average, generates 23.53 views...
Now as stated previously...measureing a threads interest level with the public, doesn't nessicarily reflect sheer numbers...
Cause the 'where are you' thread clearly has the lead with 410,408 views...but yet clearly based on views per post, generates the least views per post...
What does that indicate? Not sure....
Where as the 'Stupidest thing you've done or seen a rookie do' thread has 51,531 over all views...but generates an astounding 151 subsequent views per post...
So clearly that thread is the fore runner win it comes to generating viewers interest or curiosity either from members or online search engines...
With 'Scariest cities you have visited' coming in a close second with 131.6 views for every one post...
And this thread here generates around 35 views, per one post...and total views is hoovering just above 49,000....
Now just think, if I worked on Wall Street or some other monetary firm...I would have just earned my $1 million dollar bonus simply for playing around with some stats, and now would be off to the golf course... -
Currently the 'where are you' thread is at 410,552 views....it took 17,437 posts to get there...
The Marriage thread is at 49,070 views...it took 1366 posts to get there...
At the Marriage threads current view per post ratio, it will have generated 626,378 views, by the time 17,437 posts are made....
Or 215,826 more views with equal amount of posts, or aprox 35% more views....
One sec...my head is spinning from all this conversion math...very rusty...Last edited: Dec 12, 2011

When the 'Where are you now' thread had 1336 posts...which the marriage thread has now...they had 32,149 views...
Marriage thread...1336 posts/ 49,070 views
1336 posts........1336 posts
49,070 vws.......32,149 vws
Marriage...........Where are u
But then again these projected ratios are not taking into count any 'surges' in numbers or views that can and do occur...it's simply taking the figures infront of us now, and using that as an average assumption
Just trying to get my mind back into math...been having a hard time studying lately for pert test...so in order to get myself thinking numbers again...I need to play around with figures in something I'm already firmiluar with...and that is trucking ye, but also competition...U4EA Thanks this. -
9 x (5+3)2exp - 144=
This is known as order of operation....
Even though all your dealing with is +,-,/,x there's an order in which problem must be solved...
Always solve what's in the brackets first....
9 x 8[2] - 144 =
Then solve for exponent..
9 x 64 - 144 =
Then solve all multiplcation and division from left to right.}}}}
576 - 144 =
Then solve all addition and subtraction, from left to right }}}}
432 is the correct answer...
See, math is easy...but it's all about order of operation...
And yes...that last math problem was probably about 5 or 6th grade level...(I'm just guessing) maybe higher...
Point being...if you haven't done it in a while...it could be kindergarden level math, and would still be unsolvable...
Believe it or not, math is the most soothing relaxing dicipline there is...
Why?
Cause it won't really mess with you...
The hardest part about math is setting up story problems...
Taking information and making a solvable equation out of it...
Story problems are what mess most people up...
Anyways...
I'm just trying to have fun with math again...I just find it soothing, an escape...something that doesn't deal with bills, or whether people like you or not...none of that...it's just you and the problem...and the satisfaction of solving it...
it's easy to see how one could become a math geek...cause you get pulled into a different world...
U4EA Thanks this.
