Trucking can be like a bad marriage...

This is why I always carry my camera with me...you just never know...you come across so many once in a life time shots...

I took this one in Ocala, FL...on Hwy 301 on the north part of town...I was headed north, they were headed south...

Next week I'll really have some cool photos of the space shuttle and other things of interest...

I think I need to expand my internet presence again...

I've kinda been 'buried' here...this forum kinda mimics what trucking has done to me over the years...'bury me'...bury my talents, my looks...

It's like either you have to be a daisy duke from Kentucky...or a Uncle Jessie from Tennesse, in order to fit in here...

I am neither physically...but that and more on the inside...

Heck, I can't even post photos of myself anymore...talk about being buried...

But I still post here, cause I have kindrid to this community...I am this community...cause I still drive...just not that over the road crap anymore...but I still drive...

Because I'm not Uncle Jessie, people don't think I know anything...

I've shared so much on here...

I read where people ask the same questions over and over...and get the same answers over and over...

Oh well...I just write for my own benefit...a form of therapy...a journal of sorts...

Below is a photo of a auto-matic transmition Kenworth I drove last week...It was a nice truck, accelerated quick...much better than the last auto-matic I drove 4-5 years ago...

If they could all be this easy and smooth, I guess I wouldn't mind...

You would think I was Frankenstien though...the way I've been banned from so much, and so misunderstood doing my stint here...

I could easily take my energies somewhere else...where I would probablly get more interaction...but at times I'd rather talk, or share with just a few souls who understand, than thousands or millions who just like or want 'shock' value....

People loiter out front...a guy was shot there a year ago...(seems like yesterday)...and they finally caught the 22 year old perpitrater...

He shot a retired marine for $5.00....

Ahh, Easter is upon us...

As a kid...Easter felt like one of those 'alternative holidays or events'...

I mean it wasn't X-mas, it wasn't Halloween...nor was it St Patricks day...

It was Easter...an odd time of the year when eggs were boiled, and then painted or dyed in vibrant colors...

It was a time of exotic candies, and chocolate eggs, that weren't available the rest of the year...



And it also came in the Spring time...a vibrant time of the year, which offered hope, and a end to the school year...

I grew up in a small Pacific town where all holidays were celebrated to the max, kids minds and imaginations were allowed to explore all the wonderious possibilities of each...the hallways were always decorated to the max...

It truly was a wonderful time...

Happy Easter everyone...if not for what it means today, than for what it meant years ago...when our minds were still innocent, free and happy...

 

Hey, U4EA...I'm going to the zoo...I mean why not...



Why, cause I can...and next weekend...it will be golf...

I have to start learning how to live again...instead of waiting around all weekend for a dispatch...

And that's what I'm going to do...I'm going to spend my Easter afternoon at the zoo...

Instead of at church being yelled at by people in costumes...(that ones for you Morella)...

Although I do believe in God...I just think by the time god is filtered through man, sometimes it's unrecognizable...

Anyhow...I'm going to the zoo...and will take plenty of photos...

Life is short...and I need to start living...

I know we live in a sinful world, cause the people with good hearts and intentions, are always the ones persicuted...funny how it works that way...

I went to the zoo today, and can totally relate to how some of the more advanced animals, primates, feel about being locked up...

As a OTR driver...I can totally relate...

I took a photo of this primate below...and it seemed to get an attitude with me like 'Oh know you didn't just take a photo of me'...

It probably wanted to rip my arms off to relieve tension...
