Ya know, ghost, I started reading this thread because I enjoyed your analogy between work and marriage; I never once thought about questioning your sexual orientation. Personally, it doesn't affect me one way or another, but then again, I've never judged people based on that. If I like the person, I enjoy visiting with them, it really doesn't matter to me, any more than what a person looks like. I enjoy visiting with a variety of people.

You bring a fresh light to the way you compare life and work, it's not the same old "I get up, go to work, come home, works sucks and so does my life." You give it some character. I don't like to read books that are exactly the same, I like variety. If all authors wrote the same way, I would get bored with reading. I agree with Ducks, if somebody doesn't like a thread, why keep watching it? I wouldn't. I watch because I enjoy it.

Now, get out there and enjoy the day, and I'll be back when I see a new post here, because that's what I want to do. Terri

Physics and geometry and chemistry is seen as phyco babble also...to the unlearned, to the simple minded, and to the uneducated...

Because you can't relate to what I write...doesnt mean others can't...nor does it mean it lacks merit...if and when read under the proper context...

But look...I don't want to quabble with you ok...

If you think what I write is babble...than so be it...than that means it wasn't meant for you....

Now hear this...I want you to have a great wonderful rest of the day...

Be happy, and look for the good in others...:smt060

It is not a train wreck...it is a joy ride...it's an exploritory joy ride...to go where no man has gone before...like Star Trek...we are on a journey...ok...
Or...if you want to relate to it as a train than I guess that one song by the O'Jays...would be appropriate 'Get on the Love train'...

Ghost, how could you do this to me? I'm gonna be singing this song to myself the rest of the evening...he he he. I can think of a lot worse songs to have stuck in my head. Let's hit the dance floor, and forget about all our worries for a few minutes.

I love most any type of music, ghost, and it's anybody's guess what may be playing in my car at any given moment. I was born and raised a country girl for the most part, and I believe it will always be my fave. I never really got introduced to classic rock until MTV came out in the 80's, and I fell in love with all the new artists I discovered.

When I've had truly stressful days, I have a couple CD's that are so calming. "Spirit Flutes" and "Celtic Spa" are made for having a massage then sit in a hot tub and just let the worries leave your body.

Hi, I love classic country...I get down on anything from the 1970's...when music had melody to it...melody and harmony...I love the 70's..

Music was real and felt back then...

Anyways...trucking is like a marriage...and as such..I have to wake up early to serve my spouse...I long day tomorrow...but the earlier I start...the earlier I can finish...

Things are turning around...my new mate is treating me good...they all like me...
I'm a nice genuine person...whether on here or in real life...

But in real life I don't walk around looking like I do in the photos I post...if I did...I would probablly get beat up...:biggrin_2559:

The photos I post on here simply are meant to show my inner side...a side most will never see in public...

I could tell you some stories that would really interest you...but not here...I've been through a lot..but still love people...
In real life...some have tooken advantage of that niativity...

Do you like that song...'I made love in my chevy van'? that is totally the 1970's...
Or 'thank you for being my friend' the Golden girls theme song...or 'Alice'...I've gotta decide which one I want to leave you...

Alice...this song is for all of us who wish to rise above our circumstances...rise and shine...Theirs a bit of Alice in all of us...you go girl...:smt061

Ok one more dedication...I know I'm getting off my own topic...but moments like this are rare and memorable...

WKRP and Cincinatti....does this bring back memories or what???

For all the warriors out there...who just want things to be 'normal'...who just want to recapture the 'good simple ole days'...
I'm more kin to you than you will ever realize...
    Some know it...some feel it...
Truck on and be safe...this song is for all those who have paved the road before me...I appreciate what you have done...all the lonely nights out there on the road...all the coffee houses...all the cold dark winters you spent out there delivering the frieght...for all the people you've helped along the way...

Most of my heroes are probablly retired or gone or deceased...but I still salute you...live long and strong...keep on trucking...
