Not to keep bringing this up, but when I say the SW has been 'Mexicanized'...

I don't mean it in a 'bad' way...I mean it as a 'matter of fact' way...

I mean even all the drivers are from South America...95% of all the truck drivers I see at rest areas or in truck stops are from South America, or Mexican American...

I hardly see any 'regular' black or white Americans...
So even if one had a cb radio here, you'd have to know Spanish to get anyone to chat with you...

    It's amazing...
I'm really suprised some even bother speaking English anymore...you could get by here without speaking a drop of English...

It almost makes you feel 'dumb' for not being bi-langual...

Not all South Americans are a like, or from the same regions...some are Indians, from the hills of Nicuagua or Venezuala, or Columbia ect ect...

And sometimes the only thing they have in common is the language...
But even spanish has different dialects...

But regardless, when you only speak English, you stand out...

    It's more of a cultural thing...than color...

It's like if you know Spanish...'your down'...if you don't...than your 'one of them'...

Very very interesting what is going on...

While we 'standard' Americans are all caught up in Rep vs Dem fiasco...
And while more middle class families send their kids to college to do white collar work...an invasion of sorts is taking place...

Kinda like the movie 'Invasion of the body snatchers'...

The identity of America is slowly or fastly begining to change...and most who live say in Idaho or Ohio or Indiana, don't realize the extent of...

But as I sit here tonight, and struggle to find one English only speaking American...it feels like I'm in that movie...
    Invasion of the body snatchers...

I almost feel like I need a pass port just to be where I'm at right now...

But all is good...I just have to adjust I guess...learn some Spanish or something...

    goodnight...buenos noche...:biggrin_2557:

    Headed back east now...

I go from ocean to ocean...

    But I don't 'know nothing'...

    I'm just a 'geezer'...

But yet I go from ocean to ocean...ok...

I'll leave the real driving to the 'pros'....

    Life is weird like that...

    The 'barbie doll'...

Yep, that would be me...minus the baby...
Always seems to get these 'dream' jobs...
Where others, on other threads, struggle just to get into the industry...
But I all but get 'ignored'... cause of A,B or C, I could of helped so many...so so many...
(like the dense leading the dense, to no where...)

Well for one, I'm no 'barbie doll'...that's just an on line persona...

    A hologram of sorts...

My way of keeping the phony, shallow people at bay...

If someone can accept me, regardless of how I appear on an image, than that right there put's them light years ahead of others...as far as having a 'reasoned mind'...

Most people are made of 'glass' on the inside...

I'm, or appear to be on the outside, what I think, know, most phony males are on the inside...

And maybe that's just my way of mocking them...
For strength has nothing to do with looks or build...reasoned people know this...

Anyways..it's late, I'm in the desert...
    Nothing to exciting occured today...

I think all the black folks have fled LA, I didn't see a single one today while driving...I did see one behind the counter at Star Jr...

But they might have been dominican republic or something...

When Latin American really does finally take over...I wonder what their vision of America will be like?
Will it be like Mexico's ?
Or will they continue on with the vision the founding fathers had for this nation?

    Time will tell...

I heard on the radio where 'whites' aren't having enough sex, to maintane positive birth rate...
And on same program, heard where 'blacks' are having plenty of sex, but do to inner city violence...all the males either get incarcerated or tooken out by other males of same demigraphics...

And latins are having sex, like 'whites' did in the 30's, 40's and 50's...large families...and waves keep coming up from the south...

I so wish I could take a time machine 100 years into the future...just to see how things are here in America...

    Will the nation have split?
Will a super virus have wiped most out (innoculation blunder)(28 days later)
Will a comet have hit the earth?
Will the 'Lord' have returned by then?
Will the Truckersreport.com still be around?

    So many plausabilities...

Oh well...for now I think I'll just go to bed and dream...here in the desert...goodnight...

    Hi,

I'm in Arizona now, along I-40...and I notice a big cultural change since entering this state...at least the Northern part of the state...

Now, you start seeing all the 'Clint Eastwood' John Wayne' European American types...

So maybe Arizona might be the state many 'whites' from the SW, have congrigated too...I don't know...my studies incomplete...

All I know is today, I'm seeing more of the cowboy hat wearing types...and very few 'Mexicans or Latins'...

I wonder if this also reflects in politics??

Arizona seems to harbor more of the 'rugged' 'survivalist' white types...at least as you move northward...I-40 is theirs...but I-10 belongs to the Latins...as far as population...

More input as the day moves along...

A gift to you U4EA, and the other few, who are brave enough to visit the 'Marriage' thread...

Many will never see this photo, cause they think this threads irrelevant.

But for those who do visit...dwindling as it may be, a gift for you all...

    I took this days ago...
I was told this is the jet Al Gore used during Clinton's Presidency...and I guess it was retired shortly there after...

    Rest in Peace big bird...

    Well goodnight all...
Full day, another full day tomorrow...
I'm headed back East now...terrain and demigraphics are changing gradually...

I forgot to mention the Native American presence in New Mexico...
Have a few photos to highlight that point...but no time to prep them right now...
Right now, it's just time for sleep...

    In Oklahoma...
Indian territory...lots of reservations...other than that not much two see from the interstate.
    I already miss the..
wide open views from the SW...

I realize now that I'm a desert soul... like wide open spaces and wide open views where I can look out for miles and get a good lay of the land.

As I start to head back East I start feeling encroached on, and all the bad feelings I have, had towards trucking start to come back.

East coast coast driving = more scales, more regulations, more hassles, more traffic, slower speeds, less places to park, shorter and or circular runs or routes...

East coast regional driving is what sucked the love of driving out of me...

And also more accidents and constrruction zones...

    continued on next post...

    Hi there...

You read the last 5 pages and still like me?...wow...

Sometimes I'm just all over the place emotionally...

Anyhow...how did I end up over the road again?

Here's the short answer presented in a pyrogliphics (or however it's spelled) type of manner...
funeral = disrespect = Russian Mig...

That's the short jist of it...

The longer version... I was disrespect...quit, and got snatched up that quick...and before I could blink...I'm headed to California....:biggrin_2555:

It's kind of a trial run though, just to see if I like it, if I like them, if they like me...
You know...the whole 'Trucking can be like a bad marriage' thing...

We're engaged, but not officially married yet...
Depends on how they treat me on this first date of ours...

Kind of one of those 'rebound' relationship type of deals...

They say those kind usually don't last long...but again, we'll see...

My life changes from week to week, cause I'm so volatile...

    I need to mellow out...:biggrin_2551:

Right now I'm in little rock, just drove past the Pilot, Petro and Loves...
Fuel at the loves is a wopping $4.99 a gallon...

But I took the wrong turn, and now am on the back roads, sitting at an intersection typing this, next to some grange elevators...

Took photo of where I'm at, but decided not to send it until I'm up and out of here...

Anyways...got some more miles to do...I'll chime in again here soon...

    Bumpy and U4EA Thank this.
