Trucking can be like a bad marriage...

Ok, I'm back, last night wasn't so bad...and actually, sad to say, that out house smelt better, and was cleaner than most truck stop restrooms I visit...

To my randomn internet readers...

Funny thing is...most on here will spend top dollar at the movie theater or renting movies or watching TV shows...sitting up at truck stops in stuffy TV lounges laughing at movies or TV shows...



Yet, I provide free entertainment here, basically do what the actors on TV do and in the movies...I perform...but when I do it, I'm ostricized...but when............. one second...at work...about to get busy...back soon..

 

The preping part of this job, is what gets you so wore out...



It's like lifting weights...
You have to secure your load...
This load I must secure with a minimum of 6 chaines...
Each chain has to be dragged out, and lifted above, and properly secured...



You can't play around with this...your life depends on proper securment...and the safety of other drivers...

So goof off as I may on here...this forum...in reality I know what I'm doing...or I couldn't do a job like this...

Ye sure, I play a lot on here, but it's how I relieve stress and or just have fun...

It's either that or become a reclose, get fat, eat a lot of donuts, and stay miserable inside of cab....

Anyways...I'm about to 'hit' it...secure load...back soon...

Added note:

Another thing about myself...when I go to work securing a load or doing my business...I do not answer the phone from dispatchers or load planners or anyone...when I'm doing my work, I get into 'shark' mode...I bear down and really concentrate on what I'm doing...
And I don't need to be interupted by some sitting behind the desk dispatcher noisy about 'Where are you, are you there yet ect ect'...

When I'm done with the securment...then we can talk...
I mean one wouldn't call a airline pilot as their about to land or take off would they?...heck no...and it's no different with drivers...

We have a job to do...expecially flat bed or low boy or oversized...so let us alone, quit calling, and let us do our job...out of both respect and safety..

 

Basically...I want to do this job, and look like 'Joe Cool' doing it...



At the end or begining of the day, I want to look like I stepped out of a Benz...instead of the sewer...



I've yet to achieve that goal...but it's one I'm working on...and that is to bring
a bit of class and dignity to this trade or profession...for my sake...not nessicarily for others, but for myself...

Gotta roll...load is secure...and I'm now south bound and down...

 

OK last week it was 24,000, now it's over 25,000?
where are all these views coming from?
It's definatly not from those on here...
So where and whom are they coming from?

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to have them...
But if I knew who my audience was, maybe I could better cator to them...
But then again maybe it's better I don't know, that way I remain natural real and free...

Oh what a day...I've got a lot floating around 'in me mind' right now...(popeye)
Lot's...

First...I realize some see me as this...



A mischievous devil...up to no good, with dirty intentions...
They wish I would go away, cause I just don't quite fit their definition of the world around them.
If they were 'god' or 'gods'...I'm sure they would have banished me long time ago.

To them, I am the above...and can never change their perception of me.
It's kind of like one out of tune engine, trying to judge and fix another out of tune engine...(sin)

Then there are the rare few others...who just have that 'ability'...
Kind of what Jesus did at the well with the Samaritan woman...instead of scorning the woman, he healed her with 'love', kindness and compassion...even the other apostles were dismayed since according to them, Jesus had stepped out of his 'social perimeter'....

And even today, and on here, many can't seem to ever step out of their 'social perimeters'...set forth for them by others...they're just not 'strong' enough to step out of it.

And these perimeters aren't always based on 'right' or 'wrong' (infact very seldom are) rather they're based on 'preference'...kind of like Dallas vs Pittsburg...or the Celtics vs the Lakers...it's all just preference...

God isn't on the Lakers side or the Celtics side...but the fans of each team think he/it is...

Some people are just 'rotten' on the inside, and there's nothing I or anyone else can do to change that...

A rotten soul usually has rotten filters, perception...and the world around them appears accordingly...

They hide, and do their deeds in the background...often making up lies, inventing things to harm those they don't like...

And to such souls, I appear as the above....

But to those of reasoned minds and hearts...I appear as this...



Just a playful puppy, who likes to have fun...who enjoys being petted, and who thoroughly enjoys people...
