Bumpy, drivers have become way to political...with the advent of talk radio, and the total saturation of A.M. radio with political commentary...it has created a bitter/angry class and or generation of drivers...

It's really hard to enjoy yourself, life and others when your all caught up in that political stuff...

Politics will shrivel up thy heart...

    one sec...

And so,stay out of politics...Not ALL fall into that B.S. trap...Oh well, the Greeks had it;as did the Romans;and 2000 years later..;no lessons learned.

    You got that right...(edited)...(but I can't say that)...anyways...

I'm going to go loose some monero...one driver came out $124.00 on top...

When I play slots...it's max bet every time...winning 10,20, or even 40 bucks, no longer thrills me...if I win...i want to win big, which means ya gotta play big...which can be dangerious...but heck, I'm not here very often...this is like the first time in 5 plus years...

I'll chime in again soon...either to brag about breaking even and or winning...or to cry about loosing and feeling humiliated...one or the other...

That is funny funny funny...I love it...

I have time for one more post...

This is the longest exchange I've had with anyone on here ever...wow...

I was going to write about how I don't trust current drivers...how they have become the 'nark' class...
Always looking to get another driver in trouble by 'ratting' them out...even if you work for the same company...what a shame...

The old class drivers were true 'rebels'...born of the true backwoods...they came from the same places Jerry Reed came from or Johny Cash...

I refer to them as 'Hippie/Cowboy types...I miss them dearly...

I came into driving as they were being flushed out...
I learned alot from them though...in the short time I ran with a few...

Don't confuse todays older drivers with the original old school drivers...totally different class...

When you see older drivers today...it's usually driver that just got into driving from another profession or career...

Ward Cleaver types vs Willy Nielson types...get my drift...

The old types were 'hardy'...always had tools, and could fix anything...they were also very loving and kind...and stubborn...

But they weren't mean....they were tough and rugged...but nice...
It's hard to explain unless you got to experience them for a while...

Todays driver is nothing more than a 'system' driver...trained to rat you out for any little thing they think will put them in good standing with their dispatcher...

Don't mistaken older driver for 'old school driver'...big big difference...

Anyways bumpy...you have made my evening...made me so happy by diologuing with me...as wierd as my photo images are, your still willing to dialoge with me...wow...

Of course, in real every day life...I don't appear like that...not even...it's just how I have fun and release energy on the net...

Anyways...thanks so much for making my evening...

Ghostchild.... you are soooo right about old time drivers X new ones.... I was just talking to a lady today who used to drive a truck with her former husband in the 70's and I can only imagine how FUN and FREE and ADVENTUROUS trucking was then. I know because I used to hitchhike with truckers in the early 80's in my country of origin and that was one of THE BEST , most exciting, enjoyable time of my life. :yes2557: Now, trucking is just a job, stressful job, too many regulations, elog, DOT, too many trucks, too many people from all walks of life, Americans, foreigners who truck just for any money but couldn't care less about each other... :biggrin_25513:
