Trucking can be like a bad marriage...

There is no heat like SW summer heat...where nothing but desert rocks makes it feel like your in a oven...

I'm done with work for the day...

I need to get another CB radio...when I did in the past, I would always announce my presence at truck stops...

But radios can also get you into mischief, cause it's how you can hook up with all sorts of various intentioned souls...

But I may just give in and get one...why not...not the powerful ham kind I use to own...no way...



Nice powerful radio...(although this one here looks like a smaller non ham or base type that they must of just come out with)...
Any ways...nice radio...but when they break...expensive to fix...

I think the Connex radio is the toughest big radio out there...I'm now a believer...



These bad boys are tough...not pretty...but tough..and durable...and powerful...and you can do a lot with them....

If I get another big radio...it will be a connex...although all the little CB shops that sold them, have gone out of business...

I was happy with my off the shelf galaxy also...which I sold on here...Truckers Report...to a fella...through pay-pal...

Yes, on this forum right here...I sold and shipped 3 radios to another member...and he paid me through pay-pal...it was a trust issue on both our parts...

I may kid around a lot on here...and display silly photos of myself, legs and feet...but when it comes down to real life situations...I'm very trustworthy and honest...and would never cheat a soul...

The older guys on here shouldn't think I'm so wierd...I mean back in their day they had David Bowie, Ziggy Pop, Kiss, Elton John...and all sorts of odd weird hippie/disco/phycodelic artist from the 60's and 70's...



Heck...there's been people like me forever...people just aren't use to meeting them up close and person...

And again...my 'B' side only comes out on the internet...in everyday real life...I'm 'normal' appearing....that is unless you get me ___________.
Then I may start acting kind of cooky...but all in fun...

Ok, I gave in and purchased this radio here...



So yes, I'm plugged in again...wow...

But...it's not tuned...it's just straight out the box...and SWRs aren't set correctly...I need the radio tuned with the antena...

Soon as I find a CB shop...I'll get that done...
Most don't even bother with that stuff anymore...nor do most let CB shops butcher their poor radios anymore...



And that's what a lot of those shops will do...they will butcher your poor radio...tell ya anything while ripping it apart...could even be stealing good components out of it, and replacing it with junk...you'd never know unless you knew about radio electronics...

Really the only thing most have to rely on is other peoples response to your radio check request...

Took some really top secret photos today that less than 99.99% of the population would ever see...just hardware stuff that would bore most...

Well now that I got a CB again...I can alter my time between here, and annoying people for real, in real life...like I use to do...

Also...I want to get a camcorder soon...so I can start bringing you all some live stuff...and or a camera with telescopic zoom...Oh the photos I could get with something like that...but that's all way in the future...if ever...

There's other more practical stuff I need to get first...

I'm actually having fun out here again...I can't believe it...kind of feels like days of old...

Ocean to ocean running is so much better than that regional crap...



You feel more like a tourist, than a driver...

All that running up and down I-95 stuff is for the birds...all that Jessup, Maryland crap is for the birds also...

All that Ohio, Indiana, Pennsalvania turnpike running...is also for the birds...

Ocean to ocean is the only way to go...at least for me it is...it just helps keep things interesting...

For all the whining that I sometimes do..I'm actually having a fun time out here again...and now that I got my radio back...another element has been added..

Yes, I'm having a good time and really don't want to go back...all that trying to help other people stuff...just didn't pan out for me...I'm happiest when I have my own stuff, my own money...and can just live carefree...being bogged down really sapped a lot of life out of me...and even though I'm thin, the toll of sitting around there like that for a year has caused me to not be in as good as shape as I use to...but I'll get it back...

That's one reason why I purchased new Nike athletic shoes...is for phycological reasons...to make myself feel like an athlete performing on the job, instead of some slumbering laborer...



I want to look new, fresh and rejunvinated when I perform on the job...
Again, for my own moral, if not for others...

Anyways gotta go hit it...just got a load...

A thought came to my mind...I mean between truckers backing up and pounding on their trucks waking me up, and others pulling their loud air breaks multiple times...yes, between all the agitation of that...I thought came to my mind...

And that is, was, whatever happened to all the punk rock chics I grew up around??



It seems they were the only type of females who would ever go for a soul like mine...heck, they practically trained me...a lot of my style and flair subconsciously comes from them...that 'bad girl' spirit...

But what ever became of them after they grew up? or maybe that's the key word 'grew up'...

Maybe they got it out of their system while still in high school and all...where as my expressions of that was delayed...

I just wonder what they, punk rock chics, evolved into, once in their mid 20's or 30's or 40's or even 50's...since that style started long ago with the sex pistols and all...and the sex pistols are from the late 60's I think...

You definatly don't see older punk rock chics anymore...or if you do, they're walking the strip...

But I mean just regular older punk rock chics...do they exist anymore?
Or have they simply eternalized the expression?

Again...they were the only ones to ever understand me...and or maybe hippie chics or flower child types...(not the modern day shallow commercial kind)...

I need to start working out again...in addition to the job I already do...
The job I have is coast to coast runs...so the days I have to get out and handle load, are far and in between...I need to do more to actually tone up...

I took a somber semi nude photo of myself today...and did not like what I saw...
For although I'm thin...I'm not 'lean'...not 'hard'...(don't go there)

Anyways...so I think I'll go by some weights tomorrow, if I pass such a place that sells them...not a whole lot...just some barbells...and other things that will help tone up thy body...

I want muscular tone...muscles also help in other ways...help with posture and holding body together properly...

I use to jog long ago, when out over the road...almost daily...I made it a must...I was in very good shape...and still enjoying the effects of that...but If I want to maintane it...I gotta keep it up...one can also be thin and out of shape...like imagining Gilligan without a shirt on...



'Why Gilligan!!'

For although slender, you really wouldn't want to see him without his shirt on...

And I don't want a Gilligan type of physic...I'd rather be toned, like an athlete...a track star or something...ripped...

Another good thing about this job, there's no rush to get anywhere...so there's no 'yOu mUst bE tHerE tOmorRow' type of stuff...

That's what happens when the company you work for chooses quality loads, instead of junk...

Does this make sense...I'm not over weight, not even, but at the same time, I'm not in optimal shape...

I use to ride through the desert and just run up those rocky hills...in 98 degree heat, just cause I could...if I tried it now...ya might find me bones in the desert...
