Truckstop Scams? Lets post our stories.

I hate folks asking me for money or trying to give me some sob story which ALWAYS goes some thing like "hey man I'm trying to get to (insert whatever destination) and I just need a few bucks for gas. I've heard that one I don't know how many times. The last couple of years when people look as though they are about to approach me, and we all know what kind I'm referring to, I just give em a gnarly look and they quickly retreat or head in another direction. I have no time for it.

 

Saw a guy pacing back and forth along the fuel islands asking different drivers to wash their windshields. I knew he was going to walk up to me as well, he did, I told him to stand by and I would buy him a slice of pizza and a bottled water, which I did.

 

I would have let him pump fuel while I go pee, and said he could wash my windows. Than bought him pizza. Nobody getting in my truck with my little killer. So I'm down.
