i know 2 people went thru training in Pittsburgh
they knew everything they needed to know when they were done
after a year they moved onto better companies
but according to them the traing was excellent and allowed them to be successful

TDI is accredited and I just noticed you live in Michigan. I have a friend who has a bunch of trucks leased onto Magnum. Good company and he's a great guy with steady good miles and excellent equipment. He's interested in talking to you. I know you can't do a PM yet but you can receive them. I'm going to send you my email address and I'll hook you up. YOU DO WANT TO PERSUE THIS LEAD!!!

AS far as the list I have friends here in Cal that drive dedcated for the Pumpkin, and are fairly happy with them. Stay away from USA.

I have been pulling tankers since 1996 or there about. Get some time with a flat or box first. Tanker do things that are unexpected and different than any other trailer. You really need some experience first.

    Just an opinion.

Yes I pull tanker. Tanker is not as hard or bad as some would think.
Get your start with Schneider, learn everything and keep.your nose and license clean and after a year or so you can go just about anywhere and make some really good cash.

Schneider Bulk, take the tanker job. If you're going to transition to a new career in trucking then do it right and put those endorsements to work for you, go with tankers. I hauled hazmat, mostly acid, all over the USA and that was the best trucking I've ever done and made $65K per year.
Schneider knows what they're doing; they wouldn't put a new CDL grad in tankers if it was a bad decision. Take the job.

They're the best at several things . . . none of which are any help to the driver.

I started with Schneider bulk, trained in Pitts/coraopolis, got my 1 year exp and moved on,, No regrets and highly recommend that route. Never drove anything other than tanker prior, other than in TDS. First few months can be frustrating, esp in nov/dec, when it's slow, but hang in there and keep thinking "1 year,,, 1 year".

If you live anywhere near Pittsburgh and Ohio, you'll have plenty of good tanker options after you get your exp.
