I start school in Feb.(Not sure date yet but i know I will start in Feb.). Is the cdl practice test on here a good test to study from? how close are the questions to the actual ones on the test? The school i will be attending called cristcdl. Im just wondering which one is better but ive been taking the test on this website for about 3 months and pass it every time but im just wondering which on i should use? thanks in advance your response.

yea this is the one i always study from but roadmaster gave me cristcdl to study from im just wondering which is better or are the same? i just went on cristcdl and took 2 of the GK test and passed one with 86% and the other 100% but the 86% was because they have a different answer for one of the questions then this site which the one on this site makes more since cause you should always back toward the driver side when possible and us a help if hand signals if possible and backing is always dangerous, but cristcdl said i was wrong for putting all the above and their correct answer was just backing is always dangerous.

I've taken the practice tests from both sites and found the questions very, very similar. And I know exactly which question on the CristCdl site you're speaking of; I also think it's being scored incorrectly - the answer should be "all of the above." There was one other question that was also clearly wrong and some the questions have garbled words etc. The tests on this site (TTR) seem to be of better quality.

I just took the HM test using mostly Crist, and the questions were pretty much dead-on. Good luck.

why don't you just go to the SOS in your home state and get the dmv book study and get your tip before you start trucking school? then you can be ahead of your class and concentrate on the yard skills you will learn

Just a little hint here--on almost any multiple guess exam the instructions will read--mark the BEST ANSWER don't overthink it---yes there r numerous problem scenarios when backing BUT backing is Always dangerous is the better answer--since it covers all bases--food for thought
    Just saying

You're right. Although I know some drivers swear by the CristCDL test questions, more than a few are wrong in several different areas and endorsement test questions. I've contacted the site administrator about the site's incorrect answers and he corrected a few but ignored the others. I've steered new students away from that site because of the misinformation lately. One missed question on the actual CDL test could be the difference between pass and fail. Why take chances?

http://cdlpracticetest.info/ is also a good site but steer clear of the CristCDL website questions until they get them all fixed.

This is the way to go.

Go to DMV. Get the handbook. Read through it (I read mine while on the toilet) everything you need to know should be in there. Run down and take the tests. If you start school with your permit and endorsements you will be out there driving while everyone else is in class. You might also get a discount on the school since you do not require the class time for your permit/endorsements.

Also get all the endorsements. Even if you only plan on pulling vans get the tankers and doubles/trips. It's the same cost to get 1 or all of them and you never know where you'll end up.
