I have 2007 detroit s60 egr engine.
I have hard time to remove 4 bolt nuts holding turbo to exhaust manifold. Problem they are very rusted and my concern if brake to much they might brake? Is it possible to use heater? There is not to much space to use socket , I have to use 12point wrench.Same problem is with turbo oil drain bolts. I cant get access because egr valve. I need advise from people who have expierience with this stuff.

Wrench on turbo, better use a 6pt if you can to keep from roundin off. Spray a heavy coat of pb blaster and let sit overnight if possible. Oil lines should be accessible with a swivel socket and extension. Not a swivel and a socket, just a swivel socket. Replace turbo mounting bolts with new ones and a coat of never seize.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -

Its not possible to use socket it has to be wrench, becauce not too much space between turbo and manifold. There are 12 pt nuts on studs.

The twelve point bolts should come out with some pb blaster and wrenches. The 6pts won't work for those, but them being 12pt bolts you shouldn't have round off issues anyways. You can heat them, but it's going to be hot to work.

Heat them till they turn red then dump water on them quickly I assure you they will bust loose.
