We've got a 1995 international with a 3406e low HP max at 380 with existing turbo. The thing works great but could use a little more power, since we live in the mountains. I realize the expense pistons, turbo, injectors, ect to go any more HP from caterpillar, but has anyone ever used the fuel temp and boost sensor harness? Or is this too much for this motor
Appreciate any advice. Thanks
Turn up 3406e or not?

Fuel temp sensors work good at adding HP. Boost sensors male for a more responsive fuel pedal but makes lots of black smoke because of the initial over fueling. I have used both. No engine damage can occur from these plugs

Fuel temp sensor is a temporary fix. It only works until your fuel get up to operating temp. Boost harness only makes it smoke.
Cetane+ Thanks this. -
Idk if I'd want to push for too much more power when you say that Cat won't uprate it because the components are at their limits. Don't know how well it would stay together.

IMHO if it isn't broke don't touch it. I pushed the HP on my 3406B snapped three exhaust manifold studs, I turned it back down after that.

Leave it alone. My two cents

No, doesn't work, in 5 min after you plug in the fuel temp harness your engine fan starts , and never stop , unless you remove it, about the other one doesn't do nothing beside smoking
