Not saying fog had anything to do with it but we did have fog in the area. In fact the last few early mornings have been pretty foggy.

Wrong place at the wrong time. Never turn your back to traffic. Ever! Bad situation for everyone involved.

Some states don't allow the truck and trailer to be towed together . I've broken down twice and been told that . Once I had an empty trailer and got permission to leave the trailer at the fuel stop where the truck broke down . The other time I had a hazmat load and had to have the trailer towed to the shop . The driver they sent to pull the tank never pulled a tanker before . 3,000 gallons in a 5,000 gallon tank . He only pulled it 10 miles but it was plenty for him .

Actually, I drove past this accident several minuets after it happened. The two drivers were still alive and the ups truck was already in a ditch. The two men were talking in the right lane and not on the shoulder. I didn't think to stop, because it looked like everyone was ok. I have pictures to prove it. Were you can see the gentleman standing in the right lane. Which makes me think, that the ups driver didn't hit those gentleman and possibly another vehicle could of and drove off.

    Camaro82,
I see you haven't posted an update since. I'd like to be able to give your story credibility, but being as you're a first time poster/new member has a tendency to always cast doubt.
Have you made contact with Indiana Highway Patrol? Also, can you post whatever "normal looking" pics you have of the incident/scene as you saw it?

    c64basic Thanks this.
