U. S. Express and Dollar General

At least a year. They were running them when I started working for them.

 

i see there truck at Dollar General all the time in Romeo Mi.

 

My wife was a Dollar General store manager starting back in 2007 and they were delivering to her store then because I would see them when I stopped in to see her. Now she gets from USX and Werner both.

 

Hard work but its a good gig! Have a friend down here in Florida that does it and makes pretty decent money. He's usually out Sunday night to Thursday night early Friday morning. Some of those stores are pretty tight and you do have to hand unload the whole truck. They have those ramps with the rollers so you just set them all up and start wingin boxes down the shoot! Its a dedicated regional gig though I am not sure about what it entails to get your foot in the door. I have heard that there is a bit of people in line for those positions. Only way to find out though is to go for it!

 

I saw an Averitt truck in Texas just today with a DG trailer
